• STEPS FOR INFECTING THE LAB WITH WANNACRY
• Before infecting check the VM settings all should be internal networks.
• Now check whether all the vs are properly communicating with eachother. Check the IP and try pinging with one another. Also type windows 7 \\ip\c$ in windows 10 address bar and verify whether the share is properly working.
• Atlast run the wannacry malware in the windows 10 and wait for sometime. First windows 10 will get infected , then since the SMB share is activated windows 7 will also get infected via share and you can see ransome note and icons in both the windows and desktops.
